In September 2022, Saracens player Nick Isiekwe underwent a successful ExoVasc PEARS procedure. He discussed his experiences in a recent article in the Times Sports Supplement.
Dr Guido Michielon, director of cardiac surgery at Istituto Giannina Gaslini, has successfully carried out the first Ross PEARS surgery in Genoa, Italy.
The patient was a 23-year-old with congenital aortic valve disease associated with dilatation of the ascending aorta and aortic root.

On 29 June 2023, Conal Austin and John Pepper presented on PEARS at the Barts Aortovascular Symposium 900.
The two-day in-person international conference, which ran 29-30 June 2023, targeted all multidisciplinary professionals involved in the care of patients with aortic valve and aortic pathology including acute aortic dissection.
The Symposium was part of the celebration of 900 years of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London.

Since February 2022, Exstent has been employing the MasterControl electronic Quality Management System software to manage its quality documentation and for completing its device history records. The implementation of this system has had a significant impact on Exstent being able to demonstrate control of its systems to external auditors, leading to Exstent achieving its ISO13485:2016 and MDSAP registration.
